Hello from our SERVPRO Spring Garden Family!
Spring & summer thunderstorms approaching. We thought you should know what to do with REFRIGERATED ITEMS should there be a power outage. Here are some tips compliments from American Red Cross on Food Safety:
http://www.redcross.org/get-help/prepare-for-emergencies/types-of-emergencies/food-safety
1.) Call electric company, advise and in inquire about how long the outage may be.
2.) Keep fridge and freezer doors closed as much as you can.
3.) Food that is over 40°F for longer than 2 hours should be disposed of. Also food that if discolored or has an odor.
4.) Eat perishable foods first: fridge first, then freezer.
5.) Have a cooler and ice prepared if the outrage may be more than 24 hours. Keep it in cool place covered in a blanket or towel.
SERVPRO & THE AMERICAN RED CROSS are close affiliates as both companies enjoy helping those in need during a time of loss. We are proud to have such a great business relationship!
We at SERVPRO Spring Garden are available for your emergency services needs at 215-791-2392 & visit our Facebook page & website www.SERVPROspringgarden.com

The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) creates the standards for the restoration industry and provides training and certification to restoration companies. IICRC Certified Firms have the right to display the IICRC Certified Logo.
• Present accurate information to consumers and conduct business with honesty and integrity.
• Require a technician on all jobs who has been formally trained and passed all required tests.
• Require a continuing education program to keep technicians up-to-date on the latest changes in the industry.
• Maintain liability insurance to protect all parties in the event of an accident.
• Maintain a written complaint policy and agree to Better Business Bureau or similar arbitration to resolve disputes, and accept the conclusions and recommendations of arbitration.
The IICRC has been the driving force in establishing the main industry standards and reference guides for professional carpet cleaning, water damage restoration and mold remediation. These IICRC standards take years to develop and require the coordination of experts in the field: manufacturers, industry organizations, insurance professionals, training schools, contractors, and public health professionals.
Every five years, the standards are reviewed and updated. The water damage restoration field changes rapidly with advancements in technology and science, and therefore the standards must evolve to keep pace.
SERVPRO of Spring Garden / Faitmont specializes in the cleanup and restoration of residential and commercial property after a fire, smoke or water damage event. Our staff is highly trained in property damage restoration and we are an IICRC Certified Firm. We believe in continuous training: from initial and ongoing training at SERVPRO’s corporate training facility to regular IICRC-industry certification, rest assured our staff is equipped with the knowledge to restore your property.

Kimberly Nasuti is currently our Marketing Manager and also shares duties as Office Administrator as well.
She has been a dedicated employee to SERVPRO of Spring Garden/Fairmont since 2011. Her Career as an Insurance Adjusters (homeowners) provided her excellent experience for SERVPRO. Kimberly holds several licenses for Adjusting as well as Insurance Sales. She spent a brief time as an Insurance Agent thus the Marketing came into play. For the past years Kimberly has said many times that her place and career is now here with SERVPRO of Spring Garden!
In addition to work responsibilities Kimberly has one teenage daughter who is the light of her life. Also she cares for her daughters best friend (also another teen girl!) and her mother. Her family is her life and will be growing soon. She is engaged to be married in near future to a wonderful man. To add to all of this, Kimberly has a passion for animals; she often trained and rides horses and has a small dog which she also loves dearly.
SERVPRO of Spring Garden is Proud to have Kimberly as part of our own SERVPRO family!
